In the latest episode of Solo Leveling, Season 2 Episode 7, called "The 10th S-Rank Hunter," the story keeps exciting viewers with important events. This episode is a key moment because Jinwoo is officially recognized as South Korea's 10th S-Rank Hunter. This recognition has paved the way for his re-entry to the terrifying Demon Castle and the much-awaited Jeju Island Arc.

The episode aired on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at 12 AM JST. It not only increases the excitement for the upcoming battles in the Demon Castle but also introduces important characters and moments that will influence the story in the future.

Jinwoo's Public Reveal and Re-evaluation

The episode starts with S-Rank Hunters Baek Yoonho and Choi Jong-in arriving at the Hunter Association for Jinwoo's re-evaluation. They are accompanied by Lim Taegyu, the Guildmaster of the Fiend Guild, who is mainly there for Lee Minsung, another Hunter being evaluated. However, Yoonho and Jong-in are focused on Jinwoo, whose re-evaluation is happening on the same day.

As Jinwoo walks towards the building, a guard from Minsung’s group tries to stop him. But Chairman Gunhee intervenes and takes Jinwoo inside personally, leaving Minsung confused who Jinwoo is and what his status is. Minsung tries to shift the media’s attention back to himself and starts his own evaluation but Woo Jinchul stops him and tells him it’s not his turn yet.

Meanwhile, Hae-in, Jinwoo's sister, is watching the news about his reawakening, showing how Jinwoo's rise in status is affecting others.

Jinwoo's Classification as an S-Rank Mage

During the re-evaluation, Jinwoo's amazing abilities are shown, and he is classified as an S-Rank Mage-type Hunter because of his outstanding necromancer skills. This surprises everyone there and shows just how powerful he is. When Jinwoo leaves the building, he is greeted by a rush of media attention, marking his official introduction as South Korea's 10th S-Rank Hunter.

In the middle of the chaos Yoonho and Jong-in try to get close to Jinwoo, but he quickly avoids them, showing off his amazing speed. This makes Yoonho think about how much Jinwoo has grown since they first met outside the Red Gate. He starts to wonder how Jinwoo has become even stronger, especially since a Hunter's powers usually stay the same after they awaken or reawaken.

Jinwoo's Ambitions and Jinho's Loyalty

In a separate storyline, Jinho and his father, Yoo Myunghan, talk about Jinho's failed attempt to get Jinwoo to join the Yoojin Guild. In a flashback, Jinwoo says he wants to create his own guild because joining another one would slow down his growth and interfere with his plans. In the present, Jinho tells his father that instead of joining the Yoojin Guild, Jinwoo has offered him the position of Vice Guildmaster. Even though his father is disappointed, Jinho stays loyal to Jinwoo.

After completing his re-evaluation, Jinwoo turns his attention to getting ready for his return to the Demon Castle. He collects stronger weapons and gear, expecting the challenges he will face in the final boss battle of the dungeon.

Yoonho's Realization and Jinwoo's Preparations

As Yoonho thinks about Jinwoo's amazing progress, he comes to an important conclusion: Jinwoo was never really reawakened. Instead, Yoonho figures out that Jinwoo has a special ability to keep leveling up, which could change everything in their world.

Meanwhile, Jinho goes to Jinwoo's home to give him a reason for his upcoming absence. He tells his sister, Jinah, that he will be busy working with Jinho, cleverly hiding his plans to go back into the Demon Castle. As night comes, Jinwoo assigns three shadow soldiers to protect Jinah, knowing that their family is getting more attention.

The episode also hints at a new threat by showing a quick glimpse of a flying ant monster, suggesting that dangers are coming.

Jinwoo's Return to the Demon Castle and the Jeju Arc Setup

The next day, Jinho drops Jinwoo off at Daesung Tower, signaling his return to the Demon Castle. Even though the last 25 floors are a tough challenge, Jinwoo is fully prepared with powerful new gear to face the dungeon's final test. He gets a new quest: to defeat the Demon Monarch Baran on the top floor and claim his soul. Excited about the rewards, Jinwoo steps onto Floor 76, ready for intense battles.

As he goes through the challenges, Jinwoo quickly defeats the demons in his way, showing off his improved strength and strong shadow army. However, he soon comes across a group of powerful demons that slow him down a lot. While his shadow soldiers have a hard time fighting them, Jinwoo stays calm and easily cuts through the enemies until only their leader is left.

In a surprising turn of events, after Jinho leaves, his father, Myunghan, suddenly gets sick. It is soon discovered that he has Eternal Slumber, the same strange disease that put Jinwoo's mother in a coma. This is likely caused by his long exposure to Jinho's mana.

On a quiet island, two hunters on patrol come across a scary ant monster, hinting that a disaster is about to happen.

As the episode comes to an end, Jinwoo plans how to clear the 80th floor, getting ready for important battles inside the Demon Castle and also preparing for the upcoming Jeju Island Arc. The exciting cliffhanger makes us looking forward to the next part.
