Solo Leveling Ragnarok Chapter 45: Suho Confronts His Future Self
In Solo Leveling Ragnarok Chapter 45, the situation is getting intense as Suho is navigating the treacherous Advancement Quest dungeon. Released on March 13, 2025 in South Korea, this chapter is a big one for Suho and has a lot of unexpected twists.
The chapter starts in the dark dungeon where Beru, Esil, and Gray are getting worried about Suho. Two weeks have passed since Suho entered the Advancement Quest and they can’t contact him. Beru is worried, his usual calm self is cracking as he thinks about the danger Suho is in. Esil senses the gravity of the situation and Gray’s brows are furrowed. But Ammut is as calm as ever. He reassures the group that Suho is strong and can take care of himself. He reminds them that Suho may be a child compared to his father, the legendary Shadow Monarch Jinwoo but Suho has proven many times that he has a iron will. Ammut’s confidence slowly calms the others and they regain their faith in Suho to overcome the challenges ahead.
Suho's Struggles
Then the story cuts back to Suho who is fighting two bosses: his childhood self and the Tutorial phase boss. The cycle of death and respawn has become a grind for him, but he won’t give up. Each fight pushes him to his limits but Suho’s determination only grows. He dies countless times, driven by the desire to break this perpetual loop. His struggles are raw; each death feels like a weight on his shoulders, but with each respawn he rises anew.
As the fights continue Suho realizes he can’t see the enemy status windows. The child boss is his younger self with 0 player level but max Ruler’s Authority which allows him to manipulate the dungeon itself. The Tutorial phase boss, named Soul Striker, is level 99 and can one shot anything in his path. Now Suho has another layer to deal with, fighting versions of himself that embody his past and potential future.
The Maze of Insecurities
Suho’s frustration grows as he navigates the maze of the dungeon. Each death makes him less afraid of failure and more determined to live. He thinks through his next move and realizes there’s only one room left unexplored. But he soon notices a pattern: the two bosses are blocking his way on purpose and getting more aggressive. It feels personal, like they’re a manifestation of his own insecurities and fears.

He decides to push forward and faces the infant boss again. This time he uses his own Ruler’s Authority to sense incoming attacks and can predict the infant boss’s movements with ease. He throws his jacket over the boss’s face and slips past. This gets him into the last unexplored hallway where he hopes to find another door.
Confronting the Future
As he figures out which past self he’s going to have to deal with next the chapter ends. The third boss appears—a weird and new version of Suho with two swords, one red and one silver. This isn’t Suho or the readers have ever seen before. He exudes power and confidence and Suho gets chills. The dual swords glare in the dark, one for his fiery passion, the other for his cold calculation.
The chapter ends with the stage set for an epic fight. Suho is face to face with this new version of himself, a battle not just of strength but of identity and purpose. The stakes have never been higher and as the tension crackles in the air you’re left on the edge of your seat wondering what’s going to happen and what secrets await him when he faces his future self. The story promises a wild and intense fight, one that will test not just his physical strength but his understanding of who he is and who he can become.
